Math

St. Rita is known for our EXCELLENT Math Program! St. Rita School incorporates “Leveled Math.”

  • Grades TK-3rd: Math is leveled within the homeroom
  • Grades 4th-8th: Students are placed in their Math class regardless of grade

Students are assessed when entering the school to determine what math level they will be placed. Furthermore, each student is assessed at the end of each school year to determine what class they will be placed at the beginning of the new school year.

Students can also advance by 1 or 2 years! To qualify for advancement, students must test out of the class as well as maintain a 90% or better on every test.
