7th Grade Japanese iMovie - 100 points - Due March 7, 2012

 Task: You are to design and create a trip to Japan using Pages, Garageband and iMovie.

 First, write a full script in Pages covering all of the following points.
- A brief history of Japan for readers to have a basic background about the people of
this unique island - worth 10 points
- A three week minimum trip with stops on all four of the main Japanese islands.
This should be broken into days. Daily activities need to be explained. - worth 5 points
- A visit to at least three temples/shrines and other spiritual areas of Japan should be
included in your itinerary - 5 points
- The trip should stop at one or more ruins or sacred sites (or more) of Japan - 5
points
- You will need at least three castles included in this tour of Japan - 5 points
-The trip itinerary should include visits to at least three National Parks of Japan - 5
points
- A description of Shinto/Buddhism with the beliefs of both religions should be
included in the script - 10 points

 Next, record your script into Garageband. You may add music to the background if you wish.

 

Make an iMovie and include your recording from Garageband and images.

 

- A beautifully designed cover with illustrations and a title that makes the reader want to visit Japan - 10 points
- Maps and photos of the sites mentioned in the iMovie  - 10 points
- Overall neatness and quality - 10 points
- Correct grammar and spelling throughout the itinerary - 5 points
- A calendar of events that is clear and easy to read - 5 points
- The project is professional - 5 points
- The slide timings match the voice - 5 points
- All sources and picture URLs as well as name and SLE are listed in the credits of the iMovie - 5 points
