During the week of November 14th, we will be starting our first novel study. We will be taking a break from our regular literature program while we delve into the works of Scott O'Dell. This is a classic book that connects directly with our Fourth grade Socail Studies standards. The students will be working in literature circles in class to discuss this piece of work. They will also be given assigned jobs each night to connect to the chapter read that day. Please be sure that your son or daughter has purchased this book and brings it to school by Monday November 14th. I look forward to experiencing this wonderful book with your child.
